"The face of a changing cinema"
"Classically trained as singer and actress, Aline is probably one of the most fascinating and unique contemporary artists. Her life is like an open adventure book, where everything is possible."
"In the Golden Age of Broadway they called singing, dancing and acting a triple threat; but it goes much further with Demoiselle Mayne who seems to know no limits. I have been honored to work with her quick intuition, aesthetic perfectionism and "show business" attitude. Aline has sung for several opera companies, and did a series of solo shows covering Bel Canto and Bizet to Bernstein with great elan - her "Glitter and be Gay" rivals Kristin Chenoweth, with the satiric tragicomedy underpinned by the pathos of Voltaire's humanism. This is the essence of artistry - clever and empathic narratives that break through the gridlocks of words, sophistry and emotional baggage to bring people together. Aline achieves this in disciplines of acting in film and on stage, singing across genres, ballet, playing piano, guitar and bass, and writing earworms and anthems with lessons from the heart, a multi-faceted chorus of muses extolling the forces of sweetness and light through performing arts."
Aline studied dramatic arts at the Royal Athenée of Rixensart (Belgium), where she performed on stage in plays such as “Spring Awakening” by Frank Wedekind, “The Marriage of Figaro” by Beaumarchais and “Wounds to the face” by Howard Barker.
On screen, Aline worked in films and TV shows such as The Blacklist (NBC), Blue Bloods (CBS), Gotham (Fox), Fear the walking dead (AMC), Westworld (HBO), The Good Fight (CBS), The Undoing (HBO), Blindspot (NBC), and more. Her physical abilities and somewhat of daredevil attitude led her to work as a stunt performer and double actresses such as Nicole Kidman, Bridget Moynahan, Mozhan Marno, Christine Baranski, Jenna Elfman, Christine Lahti and others. Aline is a member of the Television Academy and SAG-AFTRA.
Aline also studied classical singing and sang in several operas such as The Magic Flute, Madama Butterfly, La Traviata and The Marriage of Figaro, amongst others. She performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall (NYC) and La Monnaie (Belgium), and sang the title role in the world premiere of the musical "Grindr, the Opera" in New York City. She studied at the Royal Conservatory of Mons (Belgium) in the music composition major, with a piano minor. Additionally, she studied classical guitar, church organ and cello at various music academies in Belgium.
Aline is also an award-winning and critically acclaimed singer-songwriter. She released several EP's, singles, and music videos and performed live in many venues in North America and Europe. She's a member of ASCAP (USA) and SABAM (Belgium).
Aline worked as an editorial and runway model, and also worked as a dancer after studying ballet, contemporary, jazz, vogue, tango and salsa at various schools, including Broadway Dance Centre and Ballet Arts in New York City.
She competed in indoor volleyball in Belgium, and also trained at rock and ice climbing and climbed mountains in the French and Italian Alps and the USA. Additionally, she trained at taekwondo, horseback riding, track and fields, swimming, handball and badminton. She attended the Fine Arts school of Wavre (Belgium) and loves photography. She studied physics for one semester at the University of Namur (Belgium), and was a girl scout in Belgium for 10 years.
